Nicolas Potel Beaune Clos des Vignes Franches Premiere Cru 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

Potel's wines are classic, authentic Pinot Noirs that also embody a modern expression of Burgundy and its finest terroirs. Nicolas has always felt that old vines are crucial in order to make great wines. The root systems are very deep, providing good protection against drought, better nourishment and more pronounced expression of terroir. Propagating vines using massale selection over clones gives genetic diversity, greater complexity and it helps produce lower yields. Food Match: Turkey, pheasant, fowl, duck, chicken.
