Exotic notes of candied orange peel, cinnamon and kirsch mark this intense rose, which stays lightweight and elegant, with a silky texture and a lingering aftertaste of dried berry and spice. Drink now through 2012.

Firm, with a lively bead and a minerally base note mixing with flavors of grilled plum, white raspberry, biscuit and candied orange zest. Ground ginger and white pepper accents linger on the finish. Drink now through 2017.

With 90% of this wine produced from pinot noir and pinot meunier, the color is more salmon than pink; the nose is dominated by red berry fruit , and yeasty hints; on the palate, it is refreshingly dry with the fruit characteristics echoing the nose, with good weight and luscious notes; the finish is long and lingering.

This is spicy, showing strawberry and cherry flavors that fold nicely into the rich texture. The spice elements continue from start to finish. Nice length. Drink now.

Though it’s a private company, Feuillatte is closely tied to Champagne’s largest union o vineyard owners - giving it access to nearly 5,000 acres of vineyards spread throughout the region. Cellarmaster Jean-Pierre Vincent uses a high percentage of Pinot Noir (about 60 percent) to give this robust, strawberry-scented rosé its emphatic character.

Full of spice and gingerbread flavors, this is a firm, assertive rosé that will stand up to lobster in a cream sauce. There’s a chalky sensation on the finish. Drink now through 2010.

Light, copper-tinged pink. Fresh and bright, with lively raspberry and wild strawberry aromas sharpened by a suggestion of lemon-lime to go with the repeating strawberry quality. Serve this tangy rosé as an aperitif or with sashimi.
