Tasted blind, but i could tell it was a 'real champagne'... Medium bubbles, pale yellow, straw color. Some yeast on the nose, but not overpowering. In the mouth there was a fine mousse of bubbles, its very sharply acidic, but was within tolerance. Some biscuit notes. Good, long finish.

Very enjoyable. This is a very good value and a good entry-level Champagne if you're spending money on the real stuff. They used to use only premier cru fruit in their NV Brut, but this has since changed. Feuillatte still has a strong focus on quality though, still.

Weingut: Nicolas FeuillatteLand: FrankreichRegion: ChampagneRebsorte: 10% Chardonnay, 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot MeunierInhalt: 0,75 lAlkoholgehalt: 12,5 Vol.%Säuregehalt: 6,25 g/l Restsüße: 12,0 g/lLagerfähigkeit: lagerfähig 6 Jahre ab Jahrgang Empfohlene Serviertemperatur: 6-8°C Champagner - Sekt - Prickelndes > Frankreich > Champagne

Faced with competition from centuries-old Champagne Houses, in just 35 years, Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne has climbed through the ranks to the roster of Champagne greats. The secret to its success lies in remaining true to its traditions and the valuable work of its member growers providing top quality fruit. The Wine Spectator scored it 92 points saying "Rich and creamy, showing the dried fruit, nut and spice notes of fruitcake, with lemon meringue, quince and honey flavors. Clean citrusy acidity integrates beautifully and provides an elegance to this refined Champagne. Drink now through 2020." It's simply one of the best values you'll find in Champagne.

A distinctive ros Champagne that smells like potpourri or Christmas punch with its cinnamon and clove accents. There's depth and intensity to the berry and whole-grain bread notes, matched to a raw silk texture and vibrant structure. Excellent length.

The muted nose offers faint hay and floral aromas, but this wine opens up in the mouth with bread flavors accented by toast and citrus. The texture is dry and full, and the finish moderately long with attractive grapefruit and mineral flavors.

    Winemaker's Notes:

a floral nose with dominant subtle of white fruits: pear, apple, but also almond and hazel nut. A balanced and elegant champagne which draws its strong personality in vintages of exception.

    Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Pale yellow in color with silver tinges, crystal clear and brilliant with a well-balanced ribbon of delicate bubbles. Nose: Initially subtle on the nose, fresh, white fruit flavors icnluding apples, pears and peaches intermingle with spices (curry and turmeric). A second intake reveals a more expressive bouquet, which evolves towards ripe fruit flavors. Palate: Smooth and elegant, boasting a concentrated bead which creates a refreshing finish.

a floral nose with dominant subtle of white fruits: pear, apple, but also almond and hazel nut. A balanced and elegant champagne which draws its strong personality in vintages of exception.
