This was a bit disappointing last time I had it. I like my Champagnes with strong, almost overwhelming mousse, and this didn't deliver at all. I also think it lacks minerality and a bit of freshness. Nice fruit tones on the palate, and it stays good and long.

Pale and golden in colour with an abundance of elegant bubbles brings forth floral fruits with a subtle predominance of pear, apple,almonds and hazelnuts. On the palate it is fresh on the opening, smooth, pleasant and balanced.

A classy, elegant style of Champagne with a tart, steely structure and firm, tight flavors. Very dry and a bit closed down, but the length and concentration suggest some wonderful development ahead.
