Nicolas Feuillatte Blanc de Blancs(1998)

Rich and gingery, yet with an underpinning of acidity that keeps it all lively and refreshing, this is full of candied citrus and berry flavors with accents of coffee and toast. It's all harmonious and supple, with a long finish.

The Nicolas Feuillatte 1998 Blanc de Blanc is a unique expression of Champagne, a 100% Chardonnay Cuvee, pale gold in color, with sumptuous aromas and flavors of green apple, dried figs, honeysuckle and a fresh, bright finish. Beautiful bouquet of fresh baked bread, brioche and apple. Great flavor on entry with a meld of creamy lemon, spicy citrus and perfectly integrated lime-soaked acidity. Tart, spicy close that rings with lemon and grapefruit. -Wine News
