Colline Teramane is a locale to pay attention to as it is producing some of the best Montepulcianos ever. Lovely bright nose of cherries, brown spice and cedar. It's hefty but not overwhelming in the mouth with serious doses of baked cherries, blackberry and forest floor elements. A more than decent 'rustic' grip allows for a chewy element and it expresses a haunting coffee and cedar finish. Round, voluptuous and rich with serious tannins that are perfectly integrated. Will definitely benefit from a bit of air time.
