Food Pairings for Nicholas Cole Camille Columbia Valley
Interesting red wine from Columbia Valley. Nose of spice, maybe tobacco leaf, cedar and dark fruit. Dusty, dark fruit and spice in the taste. Soft tannin and nice long finish. Balanced and not overpowering. Lovely.
Soft, round, well balanced and long finish. Smoky, dark fruit taste. Elegant wine.
The 2004 Nicholas Cole Cellars Camille oozes with decadence. This wine, with layer upon layer of balanced fruit and spicy oak blended with aromas of dark chocolate, fresh ground espresso and a hint of sweet pipe tobacco, will entice your senses. Intense, dark color, with a complex structure embracing velvety tannins leads to a long, caressing finish. One of our most sophisticated wines to date, your palate will desire more of this silky, sensuous Bordeaux style wine. Cellar through 2020 plus.
