2005 Zinfandel High Valley Vineyards
Chiles Valley takes its name from an early Napa settler, Joseph B. Chiles, who arrived here in the 1840's from Missouri with a group of pioneers. It was originally called the "High Valley", probably because of its elevation above the Napa River flood plain. Chiles was well known for the whiskey he distilled next to his successful grain mill, but today we associate Chiles Valley with some of Napa's most impressive Zinfandels.
