Newton Chardonnay Napa Valley Red Label 2010
Elegant and concentrated. Nicely balanced with smooth, ripe, layers of fig, pear and apricot flavors and a dash of toasty oak.The Newton Red Label Chardonnay blends fruit grown at Newton's estate vineyards with fruit from other Napa, Sonoma and coastal vineyards, with the goal of expressing the purity of fruit.
2009 vintage. A very good Napa chardonnay. Slight oak, good fruit, decent finish, very nice balance. This is a good value and I'd put it up with bottles twice the price.
