Neethlingshof Malbec Sydafrika Neetlingshof Estate 2009
A medium-bodied red wine from this foremost historic estate in the heart of the Cape's premier wine-growing area Stellenbosch. Matured in French Oak for 12 months, this wine is deep ruby in colour. On the nose: ripe plums and vanilla with a hint of dark chocolate. Forthcoming with a rich and full palate.
A unique, kilometer long pine avenue, highly visible as you approach Neethlingshof Estate, and reflected on each bottle of wine, brings you to the heart of one of the most beautiful properties in the Cape Winelands of South Africa.
Holy cow! Sweet BBQ on the nose - a mix of smokiness and stewed tomatoes. Roasted red peppers. The mouth has a semi-sweet attack with a tannic vegetative middle. A little bit of black cherry on the finish.
