Neal Family Vineyards Zinfandel Rutherford Dust Napa Valley 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

Aromatics range from ripe cherry, plum jam and raspberry fruits as well as a spicy, toasty oak, showing hints of clove and nutmeg. The wine is a firm, well-structured Zinfandel. Intense flavors of berry, cherry fruit are contrasted with chewy tannins and good acidity. On the finish the fruit has the brambly and cherry fruit plus the distinctive black pepper flavor, giving the wine its trademark Rutherford Zinfandel character. CCOF certified organically grown. Barrel aged 14 months in Hungarian oak (40% new). 1,330 cases produced. Alcohol 14.6%.
