During the winter pruning we are going to control the production capacity of the plant, the vineyard is going to produce a certain number of clusters, and we will regulate the number of buds of each plant by using scissors.

A splendid wine Bold, ripe and extremely complex. Layers of mature dark fruit, licorice and graphite notes beautifully mingled with hints of spices. Its luxurious flavor and aftertaste unfold after the wine has been resting for a while in the glass.

It is evolving nicely with bouquet of dark fruits on a medium weight frame. Its an Austere and tannic. This has some mint and light red berry, cranberry notes. This is an atypical cabernet because of its sweetness. It is pure fruit. No evidence of earth or oak. Its a fairly straightforward.

"The 2004 Ultra is composed of 50% Malbec, 36% Merlot, and 14% Cabernet Sauvignon. Purple-colored, it has an attractive perfume of pain grille, clove, smoke, pencil lead, cassis, and black cherry. Medium to full-bodied, it has a solid core of ripe fruit, a firm structure, and excellent balance. It will unfold over the next 5-7 years and drink well through 2025." 91+ Wine Advocate "At Navarro Correas Ultra is produced only in the finest vintages. This limited production wine is designed to represent the pinnacle of quality and the ultimate definition of a single outstanding harvest. Over two centuries of history and winemaking expertise lie at the heart of Navarro Correas, which enjoys an unparalleled reputation throughout Argentina as the country’s first name in fine wines." Winery Notes "A tremendous wine! Bold, ripe and extremely complex. Layers of mature dark fruit, licorice and graphite blend seamlessly with spicey nuances. Watch this wine’s luxurious flavor and aftertaste unfold with time in the glass." Juan E. Marco, Winemaker

Navarro Correas makes some of the best wines coming out of Argentina. This is an elegant and balanced Cabernet Sauvignon with ripe fruit, fine tannins, and a nice long finish.
