It's not bad, but then again, it's not all that good either, leastways for me. The "winemaker's notes" state that there is a subtle note of vanilla, which I find, from personal experience to be completely untrue as it was very much in my face. That doesn't make it bad, though, as I personally have an aversion to this particular type of sweetness. It's got a fantastically long finish, though, which is perfect if you like it, but for me, not so much. Try it, I'd say, as tastes differ quite a bit.

nose is really vanilla, I mean real vanilla...
then you taste intense vanilla, with cognac in the background
I like it straight on ice, or with pineapple juice
