Nautilus Estate Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2009
Nautilus wines were first released in 1986. Since then, the viticultural focus has been on Marlborough where five exceptional estate owned vineyards complement a small coterie of contract growers. Nautilus Sauvignon Blanc is regarded as one of New Zealand’s most consistent premium quality Sauvignon Blancs. It has received regular recognition in both national and international competitions and is exported to over 30 different countries around the world. Nautilus Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2007 is pale straw with green tinges and a lifted aroma of gooseberry, blackcurrant bud and passionfruit skin. The palate introduces tropical fruit flavours with a hint of red capsicum. The wine has a rich mid palate with good texture and a typical zingy finish. Delicious now, this wine will continue to develop over the next six to eighteen months.
Nautilus Estate wines are carefully crafted; we produce wines that are synonymous with the best in New Zealand. Modern technology and traditional techniques have been deftly combined in our state-of-the-art winemaking facilities by our talented winemaking team. The resultant wines are stylish and individual.
