Nativ Rare Bianco Campania 2013

Winemaker's Notes:

"The wine is the result of the best selections of Fiano di Avellino (50%) and Greco di Tufo (50%). Star winemaker Mario Ercolino blends these two varietals into a fresh, velvety white, with mineral notes and hints of peach and hawthorn. The growing area "25 rare" is located in the town of Tufo and in the municipality of Torrioni where the company owns about 5 hectares of land, the land is rich in minerals, especially calcium carbonate. Aged in stainless steel followed by a brief passage in wood. 25 Rare is a great accompaniment to shellfish, seafood and white meats. The name “25 Rare” comes from the local dialect of Paternopoli indicating the ‘25 steps’ that connect the old part of town with the new. It is an interesting blend of carefully selected Greco and Fiano grapes sourced from estate-owned hillside vineyards. Crisp and smooth with mineral notes and aromas of peach." -Winery
