"Fruit for the Napa Cellars 2011 Pinot Noir is sourced exclusively from prime vineyards in South Napa Valley, the vines situated in a cool region close to San Pablo Bay. The maritime influences of morning fog and cool breeze are ideal for growing Pinot Noir. This region produces fruit with layers of complexity, earthy minerality and exceptional natural acidity. The Napa Cellars 2011 Pinot Noir has a stunning bright light garnet color in the glass with visible density. This elegant wine delivers beautiful aromas of ripe cherry, sweet tobacco, raspberry and cedar with subtle spice notes. Fresh fruit flavor of deep, red cherry burst open in the mouth and is supported by fantastic acidity. Smooth tannins linger with the pure fruit leading to a long finish of aromatic sweetness and elegance. For a decadent meal, pair this wonderful wine with grilled chicken and sauteed mushrooms for dinner and dark chocolate for dessert." -Winery
