“The 2008 Merlot makes a beautiful first impression with a brilliant, clear ruby red hue. Aromas of dried cherry, brambly fruit, dark tobacco and earth lead to a very well balanced palate. Firm acidity supports fruit on the mid-palate with notes of dried herbs, cherry and currant. This wine showcases excellent intensity for Merlot, a medium bodied varietal.” -Joe Shirley
