Food Pairings for Nanbu Bijin "Southern Beauty" Junmai Ginjo Sake
Currently one of my absolute favorite premium sakes, junmai ginjo class. Truly a locally made sake, all components and processes from the prefecture of Iwate. The rice: Ginginga. It is full-bodied, balanced, and very smooth. Highly recommend this for such a reasonable price for a premium sake. Must be served very cold. For those unfamilar, NEVER EVER serve a premium sake (junmai ginjo, junmai daiginjo) heated or warmed. It would be like heating up a Margaux or Petrus!
