What to Expect

Riesling is a chameleon of a grape, able to produce world class wines that range from bone dry to unctuously sweet. Germany is most closely associated with Riesling, where all styles are made and the range of flavors runs the gamut from steely and crisp with crunchy mineral-driven flavors to fresh lime, apple and peach flavored expressions - even rich honied, candied fruit tones in the great dessert wines.

Winemakers Notes

After a typical bud break and an extended warm growing season with no severe weather pressures, we were blessed with fully ripened and mature fruit. Fermented in very cool temperatures this semi-sweet light wine is bountiful in summer fruit, candied casaba melons, honey drizzled apricots, with a soft lemon citrus finish. Please your palate with a cool crab cocktail served on a fresh pineapple bed with a sweet and spicy Thai basil sauce for dipping.

Nice, wooded nose. Off dry with hints of tea leaves. Delicious!
