what a blend! dark ruby red color. plenty of berry fruits with some black liquorice hints? fairly long finish. the petite verdot really compliments the cab. sauv.. will pick up a case to have on hand!

Dark ruby. Aromas of cherry, dark chocolate and licorice, with a faint herbal note in the background. Ripe and broad on the palate, which offers hefty dark fruit flavors that show a touch of back end warmth. In a lush, weighty and slightly loose-knit style, with good finishing cling and smoky persistence. Irsquo;d like this wine even more if it had more shape.

Medium weight and easygoing, this blend of 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Malbec, 11% Petit Verdot, 7% Cab Franc, 6% Petite Sirah and 4% Merlot has modest tannins and cranberry flavors and will both please a crowd and pair with a wide range of foods.

Vintage: 2009 10/22/2012

A supple richness pervades this blend, mostly cabernet sauvignon, malbec and petit verdot, with a little franc, syrah and merlot. The texture is built on a chocolate layer cake of tannins, lighter than most cabernet blends from Napa Valley, and not at all blocky. Itrsquo;s a gentle, well-mannered red to serve with roast beef.

With barrel aging, this wine displays enticing aromas and flavors of blackberry and blueberry, with hints of chocolate, anise, graham, and toasted oak.
