Murrieta's Well Port Blend Livermore Valley Port 2012

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

100% Touriga Nacional A bit spirity but showing fabulous spice and blue fruit and flowers flooding the nose with hints of mint, cinnamon, orange peel, and a medicinal hint of quinine Fairly sweet, smooth and polished in the mouth. Rich with raisins and dates and dried cherry fruit topped with some black tea, chocolate, carob, quinine, and some caramel tones. The alcohol is very well integrated just showing a touch of heat on the finish. Not perfectly integrated but complex and attractive. 88pts
