Starts with a whiff of matchstick, but there's good depth and concentration to its melon, fig, honeysuckle, grass and tangy citrus flavors. Drink now.
A style that focuses on the melon aspects of Sauvignon Blanc, while remaining true to the crisp, varietal character that makes this so easy to match with a wide variety of foods.
A perky little white wine, dry and dust, with lemon and lime flavors that are boosted by bright acidity. Spreads over the palate with a tart pepperiness, an ideal food wine. It's also a good value.
The 2008 vintage boasts flavors and aromas of citrus and tropical fruits expressed over a bright, yet rich mouthfeel. The wine was predominately fermented in stainless steel to retain the fruit aromatics and a portion was barrel fermented to increase the texture of the wine. We also use a clone of Sauvignon Blanc called Sauvignon Musqué to add a hint of orange blossom and tangerine.
