Mulderbosch Sauvignon Blanc 2011
A bright lemon-green colour with a pronounced nose of citrus, lemon zest, green fig and black current leaves all held together by an intriguing floral note. A vivid palate with an engaging concentration of clementine peel, granadilla pulp, Cape Gooseberry and melon. Herbal undertones with a complex, chalky minerality compliments the mouthwatering finish.

Vivid tropical fruit aromas give way to succulent, mouth-filling flavors of guava, lychee, gooseberry, lime, and fresh cut grass, supported by a bracing jolt of acidity.
With clear, lively green apple hues, this Sauvignon Blanc has a tropical nose packed with guava, ripe and green fig, granadilla, litchi, gooseberry and a hint of green pepper - yet still maintaining a complex character of nettle and freshly cut grass. The mouth-filling ripe fruit is supported by crisp acid, which creates a distinctive palate.
Pungent aromas of citrus peel, grass, anise and peppery herbs. Quite rich and broad on the palate; in a round style but quite dry and a little diffuse. Mouthfilling sauvignon blanc but I wanted a bit more flavor and fruit intensity. Finishes with a citrus edge.
