Muga White Rioja 2011

External Review by eVintner Wines and Spirits:

This white Rioja is a blend of 90% Viura and 10% Malvasa. The 2006 Muga Blanco is a very refined example of white Rioja. The nose offers delicate spring white flower notes intertwined with hints of peach and citrus. It is well-textured, with terrific zesty fruit, purity, crispy mouthfeel and a long finish. For a barrel-fermented and aged sur-lie wine, the palate is really well integrated and the oak barely noticeable. The acidity allows a great balance. Enjoy!
