Food Pairings for Mud House Sauvignon Blanc
At the Mud House, they craft wines using a combination of technology and traditional winemaking methods with the courage to do things their way. Mud House nurture their vineyards throughout New Zealand so that our grapes reach optimum ripeness, ensuring varietal character and flavour. 85% of the fruit for this wine was sourced from our Mud House and grower’s vineyards in Marlborough, the balance was carefully selected from the company’s own vineyards in Waipara. Lifted aromas of passionfruit and guava with hints of fresh green beans and nettles fill the nose. The palate shows a crisp, fresh Sauvignon Blanc with ripe flavours of passionfruit and gooseberry. These tropical flavours blend beautifully with citrus and nettle notes and the zingy acid gives way to a long balanced finish.
