Mt. Vernon Girly Man(2005)

This blend is made from our darkest most concentrated grapes. A fruit forward nose w/ a sweet berry finish. I dare you to find a wine that is more concentrated.

This is the kind of dare I like to take. The name of this wine speaks for itself, as it's big and intense on the palate, yet floral and sweet on the nose. The bouquet has me reeling: hints of chocolate, caramel, anise, pine bough, and even a hint of lemon rise up from the glass. One sip of this wine makes my mouth water for manly food - BBQ chicken and ribs! It carries a hint of the caramel, but makes me work for the creamy cappucino finish. There is a hint of dark chocolate and lavender that linger, leaving me to battle for another glass. No wonder it's a best seller at Mt. Vernon.
