Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery Gewurztraminer 2017

Member Review by zufrieden:

British Columbia makes fine Gewurztraminer - in either slightly off-dry (like this one) or drier versions reminiscent of Alsace. There is rose, orange peel and lychee nut on the nose - very pleasant fragrance. Entry is slightly oily, (viscous) with orange rind, lychee and bitters, with a medium to long citrus rind finish. One of the very best in years from BC 89.

Mount Boucherie:
Located in Westbank, BC (across from Kelowna), this family owned and operated winery creates some of the finest wines in the province. The wines are complex and beautiful and made with 100% estate grown grapes. These are wines that could easily compete on a world wide level and have the awards to prove it. The Melange Noir (blend) and the Bordeaux style Summit Reserve are standouts.
