Movendo Moscato NV

Winemaker's Notes:

Ahhh the crisp taste of a perfectly chilled white. Nothing is quite so pleasing as this judicious blend of Garganega and Moscato grapes. A soft luscious fruity wine DOro is distinctively cheerful

In 1950, nine wine producers from the agriculturally rich Emilia-Romagna region "united" to form the Cantine Cooperative Riunite. The new association enabled the winemakers to purchase better equipment, share new technical ideas and technologies, and improve both the production and the quality of their wines. This has worked out very well for the winemakers and consumers. Today, over 50 years later, there are 1,200 dedicated growers who grow grapes for the production of Riunite-the world's leading wine exporter in the world! Vinification (the act of making grape juice into wine) takes place under the watchful eye of Master Oenologist Vanni Lottici and his staff of experts. In June 1993, Riunite was the first winery in Europe to be granted "Certified Quality" status. These standards guarantee consumers that their purchases have been rigorously controlled at every stage of production: from the moment the grapes arrive at the winery until the bottles are shipped. Wet agreeable dinner wine that goes well with fettucini alfredo, orange roughy, or any number of delicately flavoured dishes. A real crowd pleaser, this is the only moscato that I enjoy. Food isn't a requirement to enjoy the wine and surely is prime for merely relaxing during the evening in summer.

I NEVER THOUGHT I'D FIND A WINE LIKE MOSCATO. IT IS SO GOOD. THE AROMA, THE TASTE, THE COLOR. ""hhmm""

This wine is one of my first. The only others I've tried were "higher end" wines and tasted bad compared to this. I'm not a wine expert by any means but just enjoy this wine for its subtle sweetness and little bit of dryness.

I thought it was excellent--not too sweet and not too dry. It's comparable to Le Colture Italian sparkling wine. Very smooth and addicting.

very nice non vintage Moscato! Apricot and honey, yet not the syrup thickness like so many others.
