Add your reviewNose: The first thing that hit me was a lot of passionfruit/mango-y-ness. Maybe a little kiwi. I have read about a "celery" note in some reviews of Sauv. blancs, and I think I may know what they are talking about here. Taste - Lime-y, lemongrass-y, kinda floral. A hint of celery Finish - almost a sweet and sour type of finish without the bite and a bit of saltiness. I quite like this wine.

A joint venture of brothers Piero and Lodovico Antinori, this is the first vintage to reach U.S. shores, and it is a promising first step. Melon and peach notes on the nose are garnished with fresh herbs, and on the palate the wine hews a line between round and ripe and lean and grapefruity, striking a fine balance.
A fabulous value, the 2004 Sauvignon Blanc explodes from the glass with exquisitely ripe gooseberries. Expansive and boldly-flavored, this medium-bodied, silky-textured effort is resplendent in layers of pink grapefruit, gooseberries, and spices. It has terrific mouth-feel and a long fruit-filled finish. Drink it over the next 2ndash;3 years.
The Antinori family (Ornellaia, Sassicaia, Tignanello, etc.) goes to New Zealand! Super Tuscan Marlborough? Hardly mdash; the investment in Mount Nelson winery is 31 acres of all Sauvignon Blanc. Brilliant purity of color mdash; silver gold in the glass with passion fruit and fresh herbal aromas. Silky, ripe texture with solid mineral mid-palate and a lifting, slightly grassy finish. Future plans include a reserve from older vines.
