Mount Langi Ghiran Shiraz Billi Billi 2011
This plum-red wine has a nose of raspberry and cherry, with notes of chocolate and delicate spices. The palate incorporates fine tannins with red berry flavors. The wine is medium-bodied, with a balanced acidity and underlying oak elements.Add winemaker's notes

(Past tasting 27 Mar 2013) Too spicy for my liking.
violets, plum on the nose.....big full bodied, long finish.
Three and a half glasses
Must agree with other reviews. Appealing in its complexity. Oak, ripe berries. Chewy. Addresses the palate forthrightly and departs smoothly. Not bad for a screw top. As of the date of this review, I bought at Texas Spec's, in Beaumont for $11.51

This 92-point wine is a deep, dense purple color with an active nose of blackberry and dark cherry, and hints of spice including cinnamon. These berry and spice characters carry through to the wine’s medium-bodied flavors, which are long-lasting on the palate.
