User Reviews for Mount Horrocks Riesling Clare Valley Cordon Cut

Winemaker's Notes:

‘Cordon Cut’ refers to a unique, risky process which involves cutting the canes when the grapes are ripe, allowing the remaining fruit to concentrate and raisin naturally on the vine. This results in intense flavour and richness. This wine is a bright intense golden colour. Concentrated aromas of spice, ripe lemon and wildflower notes with a touch of vanilla and honey. Riper citrus flavours (tangerine and cumquat) and even greater intensity reflect the season. Delicious and rich, the sweetness is kept in check by a backbone of lively acidity: wonderfully clean, precise and complete.
