The 2010 Moschofilero clocks in at just 11.5%. Delicate and elegant, it will be a nice and refreshing choice for summer, with enough persistence and texture to avoid being called thin, but a light and easygoing demeanor. Moschofilero is a delicate wine, easy to overlook and underappreciate. This is clean and perky, a solid little white that shows fine flavor to go with its aromatics as it warms up. It becomes juicy and delicious, stone-washed and charming. Drink it young and fresh. Drink nowandndash;2013.

You can almost smell the Mediterranean Sea in this white ? perfume, flint and sea salt all come to mind on the nose, as well as crisp pear notes. Ripe green apple and pear show well on the dry, light-bodied palate, with a hint of flint and spice working w

Moschofilero is a grape that the Boutari company has high hopes for, as sales of the wine have skyrocketed in the U.S. Pleasant floral aromas lead int a wine with peach, strawberry and herb flavors. The mouthfeel is plump, the finish virtually dry. A pleasant cocktail-hour white when you're looking for something a little different.

Aromas of pear and peach dominate this medium-bodied white. Finishes on a slightly off-dry note. Drink now.
