Mosaic Vineyards Delorimier Malbec 2005

External Review by Shop Wine Direct:

Wine Tasting NotesMouthwateringly juicy and fruit forward, our Malbec is fast becoming a cult favorite. Crimson with a purple hue, aromas of rose petals and ripe berries serve notice of the juicy, jammy elements to follow. Bright berry flavors of blackcurrant and pomegranite, finishing with a tinge of acidity and a seductively silky tannin that makes this wine smooth and very approachable.

Mosaic Vineyards & Winery:
Founded in 1986, the winery is set in the center of our northern Alexander Valley vineyards in the heart of Sonoma County, allowing us to carefully tend each small vineyard lot from bud break through harvest. The winery was constructed with the blending concept in mind, and is equipped for the production and aging of many small and select lots. Every care was taken to enable the winemaker to preserve the quality of the grapes and express his craft.
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
