Morse Code Shiraz 2011
"The Morse Code Shiraz is a fruit driven and made with minimal oak contact to allow the fruit flavors and regional characters to be at the forefront. With lifted floral lavender, spearmint, plum and cherry fruit and hints of spice and licorice this is a very aromatic wine. The palate is medium-bodied and elegant, with fleshy plum fruit and cool- climate rose and lavender characters as well as hints of spearmint; finishing with a soft and smooth tannin structure." - importer
RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
Surprisingly tasty for the gimmicky label
Tasted at Petersons wine tasting September 17th, 2011.
good body, dark berries, pepper, nice finish
New to this website. Had this wine in a restaurant and LOVED it, but need to know where to buy it!!! Help!!!
Needs about 30 minutes to breathe. Outstanding wine for 10 bucks!
This is a beautiful wine. It finishes smooth and velvety. No tartness here. The Aussies certainly can grow grapes! In my experience, Australia has cornered the market on Shiraz and other dry reds.
