Morse Code Shiraz 2009
The Morse Code Shiraz is a fruit driven wine made with minimal oak contact to allow the fruit flavours and regional characters to be at the forefront. The wine has a lifted perfumed nose, showing an array of floral characters including lavender and rose, ripe cherry fruit and hints of spearmint. The palate is medium bodied and fruit driven with a nice depth of berry fruit, hints of liquorice and lavender, with a fleshy mid palate and finishing with a soft and supple tannin structure.
Tasted at Petersons wine tasting September 17th, 2011.
good body, dark berries, pepper, nice finish
New to this website. Had this wine in a restaurant and LOVED it, but need to know where to buy it!!! Help!!!
Needs about 30 minutes to breathe. Outstanding wine for 10 bucks!
This is a beautiful wine. It finishes smooth and velvety. No tartness here. The Aussies certainly can grow grapes! In my experience, Australia has cornered the market on Shiraz and other dry reds.
Four and a half glasses
