La Proportion Doree is named for the aesthetically balanced "golden ratio" in Architecture. Luc blends the whole cluster pressed Semillon, (66%), Sauvignon Blanc, (32%) and Muscadelle, planted in 1953, (2%) which have all aged separately in their unique oak regimen. The wine is bottled un-fined and un-filtered. The color is glistening golden-green in glass, with a nose of pulverized stone, pear, carbon, pineapple and oil-preserved lemon. The palate is incredibly dense with beautifully balanced acidity and purity, vanilla-laced lemon chiffon on the finish. A seriously read more...
