User Reviews for Morgon "Les Egrelles"

Winemaker's Notes:

This bright and sparkling Beaujolais is grown on granite and schist. The Gamay grapes that produce this world famous young red wine are cropped at 50 hl / ha. The wine is a deep ruby colour. It has a refined bouquet with suggestions of black fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant. This full and smooth Gamay provides a good balance between alcoholic degree and acidity. It is solid and full-bodied, and would actually benefit from ageing for a few years in order to show off its full potential. Serve at 14-16°C with jugged hare or juicy red meats in sauces.
