Add your reviewpopped and poured- started a bit autere and opened up incredibly. classic gamay nose- violets, stones and cherries. The palate is wonderfully expressive- incredible delineation between minerals and pure cherries with great fresh acidity- serious tannic backbone, but the tannis are ripe and bolster the wine considerably. tremendous length as well. I do not drink much beaujolais, and this is the best bottle I've ever had. amazing wine.

The celebrated Côte de Py is the granite heart of Morgon, making powerful, tannic, long-lasting wines. This wine from the Desvignes’ plot of 2 hectares is no exception! The dark, inky wine has a powerful nose with a burst of fruit which swells across the palate. This is thrilling wine, with the brilliant mineral core which is typical of the Côte de Puy.
