With its 25 acres, the domaine is situated between the crus of Régnié and Morgon in the Beaujolais region of France. Bernard Striffling, both a winegrower and agricultural engineer, has been the proud owner of the domain de l’Oseraie since 1978. The Terroir is 100% Gamay red grape. Exposure south/southeast at approximately 1,100 feet above sea level. Average of the vines is 40 years old, with a moderate output of 45 to 50 hectolitres per hectare. Goblet pruning is utilized with 10,000 planted vines per acre under sustainable farming techniques. Grapes : 100% Gamay Region : France / Beaujolais / Morgon AOC Maker : Philippe Merly Notes : Colour is bright red with a nose filled with cherries and black fruits. The palate, marked with round tannins, is well-structured with notes of liquorice, showing great typicity of red fruits and spice with hints of dried apricots. Serve: Serve it at a temperature of 18°C. Ideal with games, red meats, and cheeses like Epoisse and goat’s cheese. ABV : 13.00% Suitable for Vegetarians
