Zesty and fruity in the mouth with a blanket of soft fruit covering a vibrant vein of citrus, tangerine, and pear fruit that yield to sweet lime and mineral tones on the soft, long finish. This is not lacking in acid by any stretch but does have a rounded quality that makes it a bit softer than many Albarinos. The finish really exhibits fine purity to the fruit. 88pts

Lively and graceful, this light white offers jasmine, peach and lime flavors with vivid acidity. A lovely aperitif. Drink now.
Bright straw. Dusty, mineral-accented citrus and green apple aromas are complicated by anise and white flowers. Firm, tightly wound lime and lemongrass flavors are underscored by talc and quinine qualities, which add back-end cut. Finishes with nervy lift and lingering minerality. This would be great with raw oysters.
The 2005 Morgadio Albarino is medium straw-colored with an intense perfume of honey, spring flowers, and peach. On the palate the wine exhibits excellent ripeness, concentration and a supple texture. It has enough stuffing to accompany richly sauced fish courses and white meats.
