Morey St Denis Dujac 88-90vm 2014

Winemaker's Notes:

"Musky aromas of black cherry, brown spices and smoky soil tones; more aromatic today than the Chambolle villages. Sweet and harmonious but also juicy and firmly built, showing more flavor definition than the Chambolle. Finishes with good spine and persistence...88-90" Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media 01/16 "The 2014 Domaine Dujac version of Morey villages had not yet been racked and was showing very nicely at the time of my visit, offering up a bright and pure nose of dark berries, cassis, bitter chocolate, woodsmoke and the first hints of the venison to come. On the palate the wine is fullish, focused and tangy, with lovely soil signature, fine-grained tannins and a long, very well-balanced finish. A lovely AC in the making...89+JG
