Poet's Corner:
Poet's Corner wines are known nationally for its contemporary range. A reliable product range ideal for everyday casual drinking and viewed by the consumer as fun, modern and different. It is good value for money and the brand doesn't take itself too seriously. The current brand advertising platform uses 'rhymes & lines' - quirky, well known quotes with a twist.

Perhaps I had a bad bottle, but at least mine was past it's prime. I had a swig of it before I looked at it and it was disgusting! No wonder though since it was brown.

Very aromatic. Heavy vanilla and wonderfully meaty with earthy overtones. A long finish that pushes a plummy taste to the very end.

The 1996 Montrose reveals outstanding potential. It boasts a saturated dark ruby/purple color, and aromas of new oak, jammy black currants, smoke, minerals, and new saddle leather. This multi-layered wine is rich and medium to full-bodied, with sweet... Robert Parker. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 1996 Montrose 750ml

Full ruby-red. Deep aromas of smoky black cherry, black olive, minerals, cedar and game; I was reminded of a Montecristo No. 2. This really presents the full range of young Montrose aromas. Dense, sweet and layered; really reverberates on the palate.... Stephen Tanzer's IWC. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 1996 Montrose 750ml
