We paid $12.99 for this bottle from GB Russo & Sons in Grand Rapids MI. The color was light to medium, but looks fuller than some Pinots I've tried. Medium to strong acidity with strong cherry and hints of plum and pepper. This wine had a nice medium to long finish. Would definitely try again!

Some say a certain movie created the ldquo;Pinot Noir Shortage.rdquo; Others point to global warming (for everything). Consequently, many producers have begun to source Pinot Noir from Corsica to Moldova, thinking you wonrsquo;t notice the difference. But there continues to be something special about California Pinot that canrsquo;t be recreated in a lab or some far-flung country better known for car chase scenes in a Bourne movie. This is one of very, very few Pinot Noirs under $15 that is worth drinking. Ripe Bing cherries, a touch of spice, smooth, velvety mouthfeel, and a long, haunting finish mdash; this is why people spend $30 on Pinot, but you donrsquo;t have to mdash; at least for now.

A good example of how ripe, fruit-driven, and fuller-bodied California Pinot can become. We quite enjoyed the copious blackberry, raspberry, cherry and hint of bacon on this wine. Not exactly Burgundian, but very crowd pleasing.

Another great vintage, and this incredible Pinot Noir value continues to deliver. The journey begins with summer scents of freshly crushed berries and pine forest. This medium-bodied red is chock full of black cherry, raspberry and strawberry-vanilla-cola flavors that coat the palate. Delicious!

Always a winner; medium-bodied with bright red raspberry and black cherry notes, layered with light spice and a touch of oak.

Rarely do you find a domestic Pinot Noir of this caliber at such a low price! Light bodied, but with a complex array of fruit, floral and spice notes: black cherry, ripe strawberry, violets, sandalwood and cloves. Well-balanced, with silky tannins, just begging to be paired with grilled tuna or mushroom risotto.

Vibrant cherry red in color, the nose exhibits sweet red berry fruit and perfumed floral aromas. The palate is soft, with cranberry and strawberry fruit, and is balanced nicely with spicy toasted oak and fine tannins. The resulting palate has a delicate structure with length and complexity. Pair this wine with roast chicken stuffed with wild rice and cranberries.
