Montirius Gigondas 2001
Member Review by Old Vines:
Shy nose that came alive after a couple hours in the decanter. Spice, chocolate, dark berries. Medium-full bodied on palate, well extracted fruit with very good finish. Tannins still provided a little grip. Tasty stuff - worth the extra few dollars vs. a named Rhone-Villages wine in most cases.
