This Oregon Pinot Gris has a beautiful golden color from the skin contact. The aroma starts with ripe pear and light floral notes then turns to tar and a light, typical spiciness. The flavors suggest apple, pear, licorice and a touch of spiciness. The wine's crisp acid frame and light spritz add to the rich oily texture and to the very long and somewhat hot aftertaste. - Jacques Tardy, winemaker
