    Montinore's Pinot Gris vines are planted in the cool northernmost area of Oregon's Willamette Valley, resulting in a brighter, crisper style of wine that shines with fresh oysters and other shellfish.

    Bright and juicy, brimming with peach, pear and melon fruit. Lingers with beautiful focus on the well-framed finish. A big upgrade for this winery. Drink now.

    The cooler growing season in 2007 produced white wines with great aromatics and a bright fresh character. Our 07 Pinot Gris is no exception. It is very aromatic with notes of fresh ripe pear yellow apple and a pleasant floral/herbal accent. On the palate it bursts into flavors of ripe honeydew melon with hints of mango overlaying ripe apple/pear character. The long finish is dry fresh and crisp with a sweet/tart apple essence and distinct mineral qualities. Winery Notes.

    Peach-skin color. Smoky melon and apricot on the nose, with a slow-building musky yellow plum quality. Fleshy pit fruit flavors coat the palate and become more lively with air, picking up lime and exotic cured meat qualities. A touch warm on the finish but this possesses easy appeal and would be good with full-flavored foods.
