Premium Wines Crafted With a Personal Touch The beautifully neat vineyards of MontGras, in the locality of Palmilla, Colchagua, VI Region of Chile, represent the concrete testimony of the development and the desire to do things right that have always characterized the Gras brothers, Hernán and Eduardo, along with partner Cristián Hartwig. Inspired by Hernán Gras, who has a brilliant winemaking trajectory in Canada, along with the entrepreneurial vision of his brother Eduardo and Hartwig's pragmatic businesses view, who comes from a winemaking family and who in addition has strong bonds with Colchagua, joined together to give to life to Viña MontGras in 1993, the first project of MontGras Properties. MontGras, that has always had state-of-the-art technology in all its processes, set out from its conception to be the winery with the best premium wine from Chile. It is no accident then, the great amount of international prizes that have recognized the professional work, the constant quality and the innovation of MontGras wines. In this, like corporative culture, people have been key. As Hernán Gras, Chairman of the Board says, "our philosophy has to do with producing quality Chilean wines at exceptional value, which reflect the specific terroir from where the grape come from. Although we count on the equipment and the technology, it is definitively our people that make the difference. To create a wine is a true art in which all the senses are used." Read less

This wine poured a beautiful dark red, almost purple. The taste was spicy and fruity with balanced flavor. The color is so dark it stains your lips and teeth however, it was worth it. The price I paid was$10.00USD, great value for this jewel.

Wonderful year for a beautiful winery near Santa Cruz. Amazing drinkability for the price. Thanks to Christian @ Vina Santa Cruz for the recommendation...we were disappointed you were out of stock; lucky to happen upon it at Confiteria Torres on our last night in Santiago. ¡Ciao!

Deep purple red with a subtle and charming white and black pepper note, wrapped around a core of ripe plums and blackberries, all perfectly framed by toast and cedar notes from the oak ageing. Spicy and juicy, full of ripe and round tannins that give structure and texture.

Double Magnum-3 Liter A rich and distinctive red, the Carmenère grape is to Chile what Malbec is to Argentina, however, the character of Carmenère is more suave and supple. The profile is berries, olives and tobacco. Consulting oenologist Paul Hobbs ages this Reserva 7 months in French and American oak barrels for added depth and complexity.3 Liter bottle, equivalent to 4 standard bottles.
