This wine tip toes in your mouth and goes great with almost every single meal. It's very approachable and elegant at the same time, which it's so hard to find these days. Love it!

Montgras stands out as one of Chile’s most consistent producers, coming out with great value reds almost every vintage. This wine is their bordeaux-style blend and it shows true character and style. It’s a 90-point Best Buy in Wine Enthusiast Magazine where they said “One of the best values in Chilean wine is Quatro, a lusty blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Carmenere and Syrah. The nose is deep and roasted, with aromas of bacon, vanilla, pastry and black fruit. Lush and full in the mouth, with intense blackberry and cassis flavors. A titan at a great price, and ageable over the short term. Drink now through 2013.”

Winemaker's Notes:

MontGras Quatro Deep ruby red with violet notes. Ripe black fruit such as dry plums and figs, berries, blueberries, black plums and cassis. Then some chocolate and black pepper appears. All this elegance, melted with the barrel ageing gives us those notes of vanilla and toast that we can feel in the nose, but more at the end of mouth. An elegant but powerful wine.

This deep ruby wine offers a nose of cherries, black currant, capcisum peppers and leather, with vanilla and coffee notes. The full-bodied fruit and oak flavors of the palate lead to a long lasting finish. Recommended to pair with casseroles, red meats, or cheeses.
