What to Expect

Syrah: One of the few grapes to really be a global success. Syrah combines a meaty core of ripe berry fruit with tones that range from herbal to peppery in a package that tends to be medium bodied with good acidity and softer tannins. Good, not great. A touch too fruity to be taken seriously, but there's some nice strawberry fruit in here. Went well with roasted halibut.

Plenty of strawberry/cherry lashed fruit with the dry tannins giving a sophisticated mouthful despite the cherryade colour, glowing as if radiated. Ripe, gentle fruit to the fore, dry tannins to the finish, And, always an indicator of decent quality, a long lasting aftertaste.
