SILVER MEDAL - Decanter World Wine Awards Vinicola Bove was established in Italy in 1930 and have recently modernised the winery, which now boasts a high-tech bottling plant. The estate comprises 60 hectares of well situated vineyards and under the watchful eye of oenologist Dott. Vittorio Festa, the vinification techniques ensure the production of the highest quality wines from low yields, with rigorous grape selection and refined ageing in oak barrels. Their flagship wine ' INDIO ' shows dense flavours with hints of chocolate and spice enhanced by oak ageing. Grapes : 90% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon Region : Italy / Abruzzo / Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Maker : Dott. Vittorio Festa Notes : On the nose wild berries mingle with vanilla, while on the palate the wine is full-bodied, smooth and elegant with a lingering finish. Serve : Decant and serve at room temperature with full flavoured main courses, roasts, game and mature cheese. ABV : 14% Suitable for Vegetarians

Farbe: Dichtes Rubinrot mit violetten Reflexen. Bukett: Intensive Aromen von Kirsche, Pflaumen, Lakritze. Angenehm würzig, harmonisch eingebundenes Vanillearoma. Kaffee- und Schokoladenoten, balsamisch. Gaumen: Dicht, kräftiger Körper, Fruchtnoten, samtiges dichtes und gut eingebundenes Tannin, langes, elegantes Finale. Fazit: Reflektiert mit grosser Originalität den Stil des Ursprungsgebietes und des Weingutes wieder. Äusserst interessante Preisrelation.
